I've read the study I cited and word searched 'calorie' and 'caloric', looking for the argument that there is zero difference between eating the same restricted calories in either a time restricted method or standard three meals (with snacks). What I read (and please correct me) is that there is " higher compliance and has shown promise in the improvement of metabolic risk factors, body composition, and weight loss in obese individuals [28, 35, 36]." and "Studies performed in metabolically healthy individuals generally demonstrate either superior improvements by fasting versus daily restriction"

I just don't see where there's not evidence between caloric restriction and fasting. Eating affects insulin and insulin sensitivity. If you could point me to the portion of the study that says there is no difference-I'd appreciate it.
